Our mission is to serve the community and demonstrate compassion and the love of God to people who are in need. We reach out to others by focusing on ministries that encourage care of the intellectual, emotional, spiritual, physical and psychological dimensions of the person. We seek to serve a worldwide community by promoting healthful living, caring for the sick, feeding the hungry, supporting those who are marginalized and sharing the good news of a loving God. Whether it be through community partnerships or humanitarian initiatives, our interest is in service and promoting love.

“And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.”

— Luke 6:31

Based on this, we seek to be a leader in dealing with social issues that militate against our shared humanness within our local and global context. We believe that as a group we have been called to the task of meaningfully engaging our immediate community in ways reflecting the authentic transforming power of Christ Jesus in our lives.

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’”

— Matthew 25:37-40

Therefore, our social services are proactively designed to reach out to others by meeting the emotional, spiritual, physical and psychological needs. Our social philosophy is service oriented, enabling us to cultivate a lifestyle of service both inside and outside our community. Now, our social services are going to be focused on visiting nursing homes, disabled people homes, orphanages and prisons, organizing musical concerts and presenting gifts to these often marginalized people, or simply spending time with them.
