Who we are

We are a diverse, multicultural, international English-speaking Seventh-day Adventist community in the Lausanne area that shares a deep love for Jesus and humanity and seeks to relate appropriately to the rest of creation as stewards. We are committed to demonstrating, sharing, and spreading the good news of Christ’s transforming love in a practical way to our neighborhoods, Canton Vaud, and the world. We are a very proactive group that seeks to be creative, relevant, honest and adventurous in our life together as a community within the society in which we live. As a healing community that promotes the development of a holistic lifestyle, we support each other in building a well-balanced life that is sustainable and resilient in facing life’s challenges. Part of our mission is to help people realize their talents, skills, interests, and dreams, and to create opportunities for them to use their talents to benefit others. Therefore, we strive to empower each member to be a leader in a specific aspect of the group that best matches his or her interests and talents.

We are dedicated to being:

A worshiping congregation filled with the joy of knowing God.
A healing community that joins together to comfort and overcome brokenness.
An equipping center for training every member in ministry.
A deployment agency for sending people into each day with power.

Vision Statement

The need for demonstrating God’s love, developing a holistic lifestyle, restoring human dignity and justice, a missionary path initiated and championed by Christ have gain momentum in recent times within a global context. Therefore, within the Swiss context, we want to be known as one of the most relevant community-centered, dynamic and all-engaging groups that provide a congenial atmosphere for demonstrating God’s love, developing a holistic lifestyle, restoring human dignity and justice that follows after Christ’s example.

Mission Statement

Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we seek to creatively use the talents, skills, and resources at our disposal to create a friendly, warm and welcoming English church community for the expats and all English speakers in the Canton Vaud, who otherwise would not be able to visit French churches because of the language barrier. We fulfill the dream of demonstrating God’s love, developing a holistic lifestyle, restoring human dignity and justice through the provision of programs designed to foster the development of the spiritual, physical, intellectual, and social dimensions of our members and members of the society in which we operate.

Our Goal

Our goal includes the provision of community, to enhance the development of a holistic lifestyle and to actualize all hands on deck strategy.
