Music is said to be the food of the Soul, so to refresh our souls for the upcoming year, the Adventist English Group-Vaud closed the year with a musical concert on 9 December 2017 captioned ‘Christmas Carols’. Besides refreshing our souls for the upcoming year 2018, the concert was also meant to reach out to new people and to create community. The program commenced with a brief history regarding how the tradition of Christmas Carols came into being. The children performed some songs as well as the adult singing group to the admiration of all who were present. However, there were instances where we did sing as a congregation together. The program was blessed with newcomers who came to know about the group. At the end of the musical concert, we provided the opportunity for developing interpersonal relationship and friendship among our members and the newcomers around a common table where tea and snacks were served. We shared a wonderful time together, and participants expressed their satisfaction over the song ministration and the community it afforded them.
