We will organize the whole worship for the French Renens church (it starts at 10:30AM sharp). We will focus on presenting our English group. Everything will be in French, except some songs and testimonies that will be translated to French. Our group exists for a bit more over 2 years, and it’s a good time to reflect on how God led us to collaborate with Him on the mission in this part of the world.
During the presentation, we’ll present why the group exists, and the core principles that helped us to build a strong community. Then, we will look back at the events that we organized so far, and assess the success of each of them. Finally, we’ll share experiences when God provided solutions for us in seemingly desperate situations, and how the group grew.
Even if you are a regular member, you may find out something new about the group 🙂
This is also a nice opportunity that the English group as a whole joins the French church worship. That way, the English group and French church members can get to know each other better, and we can build a stronger bond with the mother church.
After the worship, we will share the meal (“Repas Canadien”), and everyone is invited to bring a salad and a desert.
